Redefining the borders of taste and cuisine: For the “4 Hands Dinner” event in the Defregger Stuben dining room, two virtuoso chefs will be uniting their talents: Dávid Rózsa, awarded a Michelin star for his cuisine at the Restaurant 1910 - Gourmet by Hausers at the Hotel Belvedere in Grindelwald, and award-winning chef Tomek Kinder who, together with his young kitchen team at the Ansitz Steinbock, bring together hand-selected ingredients with the highest of skill together to create soulful food that brings joy to the heart and palate. Look forward to an evening where every course narrates its own story, created by two culinary masters who share the same wavelength, both in their professions and as friends.

 

Our culinary performance begins with an aperitif at 7 pm on the garden terrace, and continues with a 7-course menu with wine pairings. This exclusive evening is accompanied by select wines from the Kurtatsch and Pfitscher wineries and vintner Fenja Hinz.

The Stube of good taste

Sometimes they’re filled with cheer, and at other times they’re decidedly more dignified. Whatever the case, our old Stube have always been a place for people to meet up and take joy in life, in good food and in good drink, plated and served with infinite passion. In the kitchen it’s Tomek Kinder, South Tyrolean by choice, who, with his love for this land and its products and the support of his kitchen team, conjures up every imaginable delicacy with a whole lot of heart and hard work. At the dining table, sommeliers Sonja and Bastian, keep a watchful eye on your (full) glass. Three restaurant concepts, to give you a true insight into our gourmet culture.

When it comes to the pleasures that only a glass can bring, we know our way around. We’re sommeliers, and bon vivants to the core. By preference, we prefer to reach out for rare wines from South Tyrol and beyond. Burgundy, Franciacorta, the Wachau... We have a particular predilection for outsiders, and for winemakers whose idealism changes the shape of their world. You’ll find them all here in the Steinbock cellar, which has been making people happy since the days of the Counts. We store over 800 labels here in our Gothic vault. Until you wake them from their slumber. Served by our sommeliers Sonja and Bastian, paired with a fine meal or as a joy in their own right.
